Product Features
- Compression rings are manufactured from either a highly ductile cast iron, or stainless steel alloy. The material of the rings is determined by the material of the cylinder wall the rings will be used with.
- Oil rings (4-stroke applications only) consist of three separate components. Two scraper rails and a single expansion ring. The expansion ring in manufactured from stainless steel while the scraper rails are either a highly ductile cast iron or stainless steel alloy. The material is determined by its intended use.
- Finally the rings are either chrome, nitride, or phosphate coated, depending on the intended application.
